Nuit ultimately presents a session between Claus Filser, Til Waldhier, and the sound artist Giovanni Raabe (aka Brnjsmin) recorded in June 2023. The basis for the collection stems from the EP Skin (Katuktu Collective), which the trio recorded remotely in 2020 during the pandemic. Eventually a tour in February 2023 allowed these pieces to be heard live and newly interpreted for the first time, which led to their further development and third "reincarnation" in the aforementioned experimental live session. The results were transformed, looped, and radically edited, yet have deliberately kept their organic character and aesthetic as electro-acoustic compositions: samples and live electronics; violin, double bass, electric guitar; a conscious use of silence and quiet; and above all the deep and varied connection between musical counterparts.
